Terms and Conditions

Colour Drench Studio

We want every visit to Colour Drench Studio to be fun, safe and stress-free.
These Terms and Conditions explain how bookings work and what to expect when you visit. By making a booking or taking part in a session, you agree to the terms below.

1. Bookings and Payment

All standard sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your space.

For larger group, party or workforce bookings:

  • A 20% non-refundable deposit is required when booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days before your event.
  • If the balance is not paid on time, the booking may be cancelled and the deposit retained.

2. Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel your session:

  • More than 7 days’ notice – full refund
  • Between 48 hours and 7 days – 50% refund
  • Less than 48 hours’ notice – no refund

If you do not attend your booking, this is treated as a missed session and is not eligible for refund or transfer.

We understand that unexpected situations can happen.
Exceptional circumstances may be considered at our discretion, but refunds are not guaranteed.

If we need to cancel your session for any reason, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook.

3. Age Guidance and Supervision

  • Recommended minimum age: 2 years
  • Children must be confident walkers
  • All children under 13 must be supervised by an adult

For Kids Splash sessions, one supervising adult place is included.
For all other sessions, children must attend with a paying adult participant.

4. Health, Safety and Participation

Before taking part, all participants must:

  • Sign a waiver on arrival
  • Take responsibility for their own health, allergies and pre-existing conditions
  • Let us know in advance about any medical or accessibility needs, so we can try to make reasonable adjustments

Important information:

  • Paints are non-toxic, latex-free and gluten-free
  • Splash art is a physical, movement-based activity taken part in at your own risk
  • Protective clothing is provided and must be worn in activity areas
  • We cannot guarantee clothing will remain stain-free
  • Please keep personal belongings to a minimum, as items are brought in at your own risk

Our paint pods and toilets are accessible.
Please note the party/event room is upstairs.

5. Behaviour in the Studio

We aim to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone.

We may refuse entry or ask someone to leave if behaviour is:

  • Reckless
  • Antisocial
  • Abusive
  • Unsafe for others

Serious incidents may lead to a ban from future bookings.

Customers may be charged for deliberate or reckless damage to the building, equipment or facilities.

Alcohol and outside food or drink are not permitted, unless included as part of an authorised special session.

6. Photography and Marketing

We may take photos or videos for marketing and social media.

  • We will always ask for your consent first
  • You can opt out at any time
  • Private bookings will not be used without permission

7. Corporate and Group Bookings

Group and workforce bookings:

  • May receive group pricing or discounts
  • May include use of the upstairs event room, if available
  • Food and refreshments must be provided by the organiser, not Colour Drench Studio

Groups can also choose to book standard public sessions instead of private hire.

8. Liability

We take safety seriously and maintain appropriate public and employer liability insurance.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • Fraud or anything the law does not allow us to exclude

For all other situations, liability is limited to the value of the booking paid, as permitted by law.

9. Events Outside Our Control

Sometimes events beyond our control may prevent a session from running, such as:

  • Power failure
  • Flood, fire or building issues
  • Staff illness
  • Government restrictions

If this happens, we will offer a full refund or alternative date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
